Este jueves 22 de febrero, se dio a conocer la partida física del periodista Fausto Masó, quien fue el conductor del Programa "Golpe a Golpe" dándole vida en la emisora RCR. La lamentable noticia fue confirmada por varias personalidades y medios venezolanos.
"Lamentablemente ha fallecido Fausto Masó, hombre de comunicaciones, periodista incisivo, pero sobre todo amigo de los amigos. A sus familiares y compañeros nuestras sentidas condolencias. Elevamos una oración por su alma y porque la fuerza acompañe a quienes lo echarán de menos. Descansa en paz, amigo Fausto", escribió en X (antiguo Twitter) el político Henrique Capriles.

Trayectoria
De acuerdo con el historiador Tomás Straka, el intelectual murió a los 90 años.
"Ha muerto, a los 90 años, Fausto Masó. Periodista legendario desde los tiempos de Lunes de Revolución. Se marchó a Venezuela donde formó parte del universo de periodistas exiliados que en los 70' ayudaron a animar nuestra vida cultural y a renovar nuestro periodismo", expresó en redes Straka.
"Tal vez su última gran empresa fue la de editor. Con Libros Marcados publicó títulos polémicos, que solían venderse muy bien, sobre temas de la agitada vida política de los primeros años del 2000. Muchos, no obstante, serán clásicos, de interés en el futuro", agregó el historiador.
